2021 Miami Hurricanes Ring of Honor Medallion & Plaque from The Howard Schnellenberger Collection
2021 Miami Hurricanes Ring of Honor medallion and plaque originating from the estate of Howard Schnellenberger. This award commemorates the coach who restored Miami football's swagger and guided the program to its first national championship in 1983. Posthumously, Schnellenberger became the first coach inducted into Miami's Ring of Honor on September 30, 2021. His family attended the ceremony with his wife accepting this medal in his honor.
Both pieces remain housed in the original wooden folding presentation case, measuring 9.5x11x.25", offering a handsome keepsake from a cornerstone figure in Hurricanes history.

The University of Miami Ring of Honor was established in 1997. There are currently 31 members. This is the first such medal from an induction ceremony that we have seen available.
