The signature is on the verso of a subscription card from the Les Flots Bleus in Cannes, France. It is affixed to a mat board above a similar card shown with the front showing as well as an image of the hotel ‘s beach (which was purported to show Picasso himself but we cannot verify that).
Picasso was living in Cannes at the time of signing.
Some skipping in signature more pronounced at start yet it remains an artistic and fine example.
