Presented is a collection of two golf scorecards filled out in the hand of MLB Hall of Fame legend Mickey Mantle. Mantle, one of the most notable players to ever wear a New York Yankees uniform, was arguably one of the best centerfielders in the sport's history. Unbeknownst to many, Mantle was also an avid golfer.
The first scorecard has been signed "Mick" in graphite pencil, with the inscription, “To Smoothy Tuff Sh*t." (the asterisk is ours but Mantle wrote the actual word),
The second scorecard, although unsigned, has been handwritten and scored by Mantle in black ink. This card exhibits a red stain on the bottom-left corner.
All scoring and handwriting on both scorecards have been accomplished in Mantle's hand.
Each card is separately authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA
