30th President. 5.5x3.5 penny postcard signed and inscribed on the message side:
The Bible and American and English classics.
Calvin Coolidge
The reverse is addressed in type to Harry Hansen of the World-Telegram in New York City and bears a Northampton, Massachusetts, December 13, 1932 postmark.
Almost certainly, Coolidge was responding to a query similar to “What is your favorite book?” in giving such a response. Coolidge died on January 5, 1933, just a few weeks after penning this autograph.
Fine condition with expected age toning and light handling wear.
