Now that our campaign is winding down, I want to thank you for all your support. Your endorsement really gave credibility to our effort.

We came a long, long way, but not far enough; but even in defeat I feel the effort was worth it.

I will spend some time working on our deficit, then Barbara and I head for a rest in Maine.
