Somehow your first letter was overlooked and I am sincerely sorry for this. I will try to answer your questions – briefly because of the time involved.
In answer to your first question, I can’t remember any specific boyhood idol. I did follow college and professional sports and the men involved. My present assignment is backup Commander on Apollo 14, soon there after I hope to receive an assignment to a prime crew for a future lunar mission. The answer to you final question is no. There is no club of astronauts called ‘Turtles.'”
In fine condition.
Includes an official glossy 8 x 10 NASA photo of the Apollo 17 crew.
Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Zarelli Space Authentication.
