Roosevelt” AS PRESIDENT at top, also signed by seven midwest Governors, including Alf Landon, Governor of Kansas and Presidential election opponent of FDR at the time this event occurred.
Postally cancelled on September 3, 1936 in Des Moines, iowa. Addressed in type to Geo. E. Virden in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dealer notes state this was one of two such covers signed by FDR and the other participants. Of note, future President Harry Truman also attended the conference.
A very RARE opportunity to obtain Roosevelt and Landon on the same item, especially important given the date.
