42nd President. Fantastic full-page autograph letter signed “Bill Clinton”, August 30, 2001, post-Presidential personal letterhead, to the family of Dr. Elias Ghanem, famous Las Vegas physician who tended to Elvis Presley among many other celebrities, in full:

I wish I could be with you as you mourn the loss and celebrate the life of one of the finest people I have ever known.

Elias gave his all to everything he loved - his family, his friends, his work, his public service, his last heroic battle against a foe that would have conquered a lesser spirit long ago.'

When I last saw him a few days ago, Elias said he was sure we would meet again. A soul as good and graceful, as strong and generous as his has earned immortality. I am grateful for the life he lived, the lives he touched, and the loving memories he leaves us, now and forever.

This very letter was read at Ghanem’s funeral by Las Vegas Sun Editor and President Brian Greenspun.
