26th President. Bold signature “Theodore Roosevelt” AS PRESIDENT, cut from bottom of Navy appointment. The paper measures 5×5. The appointment appears to have been dated from June 29, 1906 but the document appears to have been signed in 1907.
Very fine example of a large, dark Roosevelt autograph.
