American inventor (1847-1931); invented or perfected many of the 20th century’s most ubiquitous devices, including the light bulb, the phonograph, and moving pictures.
Bold ink ‘umbrella’ signature, “Thos. A. Edison” on an off-white 4.5 x 2.5 lined page.
In fine condition, with light toning and soiling to borders, and a stray ink mark below the ‘umbrella.’ Binding holes along at the upper edge.
This autograph sold at auction in September 2013 for $1200.
