Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Maryland (1741–1811) and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court from 1796 until his death.

Highly uncommon oversized legal document, November 28, 1792, headed “To His Excellency Governor and the Honourable the Council of the State of Maryland”, being a legal petition, signed on verso “Samuel Chase” and signed by several others.

The document is very fragile.  There is a split to the top third and it remains attached, but just barely.  Document has been silked with some paper loss to side and beneath Chase autograph.

We have priced this well below usual prices for Chase.  A great opportunity to obtain one of the RAREST Signers signatures at a great price.
