6th President.  Document signed “J.Q. Adams” as Secretary of State under President James Monroe, November 25, 1822, 8×10.  As Secretary of State, Adams certifies that “William Duane, John Binns and A. Kurtz were publishers of the laws of the United States of the first session of the fourteenth Congress of the State of Pennsylvania, which commenced on the fourth of December 1815, and ended on the thirteenth day of April 1816″. Signed at the conclusion by Adams.

The original seal is no longer present on the left side.  There has apparently been some water damage, mostly to left side and edges of document.  The signature remains dark and strong and the document is priced at the cost of just a cut JQA signature.
