35th President.  Interesting large campaign pamphlet for Anthony Akers in the 17th Congressional District in Manhattan, 6 pages, 8.5×11, signed “John Kennedy” at top as well as “Estes Kafauver” over an image of Akers.

Akers and JFK knew each other in the Navy and Kennedy appointed him Ambassador to New Zealand shortly after becoming President.  A nice association piece with an early Kennedy friend and the two contestants for the 1956 Vice Presidential nod.

The program shows age wear with toning and creasing.  The Kennedy autograph is typical for that era and rests on a white area offering nice contrast.
