22nd and 24th President.  Autograph letter signed (ALS) “Grover Cleveland” written between Presidential terms, two-pages of 4-page “Bangs Stetson Tracy & MacVeagh / Attorneys and Counsellors At Law / 45 William Street New York” stationery, June 11, 1889, to “Hon. A.A. Wilson / Marshall / Washington D.C.” addressed “My dear Sir”, in part:

I have received [?] a box containing a small token, is at Adams Express Company’s office…

Will you be good enough to send it to me at the Victoria Hotel C.O.D.?

We expect to see Mary here today or tomorrow…

With signed postscript:

I have a frank at Adams Express…but I don’t know as it will [?] in this case.  G.C.

Mailing folds, else in very good condition.  Stationery evidently opens on left side, oddly.

Accompanied by original mailing envelope, addressed in Cleveland’s hand.

A.A. Wilson was U.S. Marshal under President Cleveland.
