Jennings Osborne was a wealthy Arkansas philanthropist. He was well-known for his Christmas light display which could be seen from the air from miles away. He was forced to turn them off in a case that went all the way to the Supreme Court. He was friends with Republicans and Democrats alike – and was a constant correspondent with his friend George Bush.
