Description

NY Yankees catcher – hottest player in baseball.  Offered here is a game used base from the New York Mets vs. NY Yankees game played on August 3, 2016 at Yankee Stadium.  Sanchez was called up from the minor leagues that day and played just his 4th game in the Majors – during which he collected his first Major League base hit in the 7th inning.  This base served as 3rd base from the 6th inning through the 9th inning, meaning it was on the field during the hit by Sanchez and was also where he stood after going from 1st to 3rd on Aaron Hicks’ double.  He would then score his first MLB run on a sacrifice fly by Rob Refsnyder.
The base has been signed “Gary Sanchez” in black felt tip.
Special “NY Mets vs. NY Yankees 2016” jewels on 2 sides.  The base has holograms from Steiner Sports and Major League Baseball Authenticated as well as a Letter of Authenticity from Steiner.  Only 3 bases will ever exist that were on the field for his first MLB hit – a great opportunity.
Hologram number JB772611 was located in the MLB Authentication Database under GAME-USED BASE.
