One of your good friends has written to me about you. I am sorry to hear that you have been so long a sufferer from the paralysis, but I am proud to know of the tremendous spirit with which you are bearing your affliction. That spirit is bound to bring happiness to you and to everybody near to you.
This note will bring you my own best wishes for Christmas and the New Year and for all the future.
