34th President.  Typed letter signed (TLS) “Dwight D. Eisenhower” AS PRESIDENT, October 11, 1956, The White House Washington stationery, in full:

Thank you very much for your telegram regarding the speech I gave in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.  I am delighted to know you approved of the emphasis on peace, people, partnership, prosperity and prayer — and, incidentally, I believe you have given me an idea around which to build a future talk.

With my thanks and best wishes.

The letter is affixed to same size heavier stock and has a light stain at very bottom.  Great content Eisenhower letter as he campaigned in 1956, winning the election less than a month later.
