I have received your letter of November 23rd and thank you for the information you give me concerning the Cape Cod Canal situation. It was good of you to remember to send this to me. I shall, of course, be glad, to arrange for Mr. Wilson to see the Secretary of War any time after the latter’s return to the city.
Thank you also for your generous comment on my Chamber of Commerce address. It is gratifying to know that you think well of it.
