Product Description

Presented here is an award given to former NBA swingman World B. Free. A high-scoring two-guard, Free enjoyed a lengthy NBA career during the 1970s and 1980s. He averaged over 20 points per game throughout his career, with a peak of 30.2 points per game for the San Diego Clippers in 1979-80.

This beautiful proclamation originated from Congressman Major R. Owens of the 11th Congressional District of Brooklyn, NY, “saluting and commending World B. Free”. Free attended Canarsie High School in Brooklyn, and was presented this award for being an unsung hero of Brooklyn. Major Owens signed the proclamation in blue marker. It features a gold seal of the United States Congress and is housed in an attractive leather portfolio.  The award measures 11 ½ x 15 ½ inches.

This award comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Sandee Free, the ex-wife of World B. Free.
