White Nike tennis shorts match used and worn by Roger Federer during the 2012 Indian Wells tennis tournament. The custom made shorts feature a light blue Nike swoosh on the bottom left leg and are boldly signed “Roger Federer” in black.
Roger won the 2012 Indian Wells tournament. It was Federer’s 3rd title of the year and 73rd of his career. It was his 4th win at Indian Wells, also winning in 2004, 2005, and 2006. It was his 19th career Masters win, tying the record held by Rafael Nadal. Indian Wells is often considered the “5th Major” due to its importance on the tennis calendar.
The shorts are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Roger Federer Foundation. While the Foundation does not specify which match Roger wore these for, they were worn at some point during his Championship run.
