32nd President.  Typed letter signed (TLS) “Franklin D. Roosevelt” AS PRESIDENT, one page, 7×9, The White House Washington letterhead, November 17, 1936, to Matthew Woll at the American Federation of Labor Building, in full:

I do want you to know how glad I was to get your letter of November tenth.  I deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness in writing as you did, and it is heartening to know that I can depend upon your continued support.

FDR was re-elected President on November 3, 1936, defeating Alf Landon in the election.
