Product Description

34th President.  Attractive dinner menu housed within a greeting card-like cover, boldly signed “Dwight D. Eisenhower” on the inside cover, also signed by 4 others on various pages.  The menu is for a dinner served on May 12, 1946.  Opposite the menu is an image of an American flag with the text:

“The Fujiya Hotel takes this opportunity to greet you and extend a most hearty welcome.  We trust that Miyanoshita will lure you back in the not too distant future for a longer stay.”

During the Occupation era, the Fujiya Hotel served as an Armed Forces Recreation Facility for the Allied powers.
