Product Description

Official NHL Game Puck game used on October 21, 2017 in the New York Islanders vs. San Jose Sharks game at Barclays Center.  This puck is the actual GOAL PUCK scored by ANDREW LADD in the 3rd period.  The goal was assisted by Mat Barzal and Josh Bailey.  This was the 2nd goal of the season for Ladd and the 235th goal of his career.  It was the 2nd assist of the season for Barzal and the 3rd for Bailey.   The puck features the Islanders logo on one side and the NHL 100th Anniversary logo on the opposite side.  The puck has an Islanders numbered hologram and is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from the team.

The Islanders won the game 5-3.

Mathew Barzal earned his 1st NHL point on October 15, 2017 at the LA Kings.  His assist was his 1st career point and also was Andrew Ladd’s 500th NHL point.  Considering the Kings do not sell road goal pucks and both assists were career milestones, we are comfortable saying that puck is not available on the open market.

Barzal scored his 1st career goal on October 19, 2017 at the NY Rangers.  He kept that puck.

Therefore, this assist puck is the first Barzal NHL point available to own.  It is also the 1st point he earned at home as a NY Islander.
