Product Description

Legendary musician, founding member of the Grateful Dead, played alongside Jerry Garcia and Phil Lesh for 30 years. Currently still touring the country with Furthur and his own band, RatDog. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member.

Original August 16, 1969 Woodstock ticket (this is the night the Grateful Dead performed), ticket number 00093, affixed to replica Woodstock poster to an overall size of approximately 9×12. The poster is signed “Bobby Weir” with the added inscription “I Was There, Kinda” in black felt tip. The ticket is authenticated by ArtRock while we of course authenticate the signature as we were sitting with Bobby when he signed it and asked him to make mention of the fact he was at Woodstock and therefore added the “I Was There, Kinda” inscription. This is the only such inscription he added to any items for us and, as far as we know, is UNIQUE. Presented in inexpensive frame.

This item was autographed on October 31, 2008 at our private signing with Bob Weir. Accompanied by photo of Bobby from the signing as well as a photocopy of Bobby’s signed certification from the signing.
