• TLS "Mike", July 11, 1988, on The Commonwaelth of Massachusetts Executive Department stationery, in part: "...Paul, I really appreciate your advice. I know how valuable it will be during the coming weeks and months, and I'm passing your leter along to my campaign staff...Our Party fielded a terrific group of candidates, and I know that I would not have hesitated to offer my wholehearted support to whomever among us attained the Democratic nomination...", with holographic postscript: "Thank for a good [?] - Iowa & Illinois!"
