Thank you for your letter of May 20 and the pamphlets about the 'Queen Mary'.  In fact I do not know why you think, I would be interested in them.  As my home in in Switzerland a trip to see her would be rather long.  Anyhow I appreciate your intention.

As you have been in Amsterdam and the Anne Frank House you surely will understand, that my interests are concentrated on the work the Anne Frank Foundation is doing.  My interests are based on human relations in the endeavour to work against hatred and discrimination.

I hope that your visit of the Anne Frank House had a lasting influence on you too and that you realize, that everyone of us has a responsibility and the duty to work for a better understanding among the peoples of this world.
