Charles Lindbergh Vintage Portrait Photo Signed
American pilot famous for the first solo, non-stop flight across the Atlantic, from Roosevelt Field, Long Island to Paris in 1927 in the "Spirit of St. Louis.

Vintage matte-finish 9x12.75 formal Hartsook portrait of Lindbergh in a tuxedo, signed in the lower border in black ink, “Charles A. Lindbergh.” Nicely gilt matted and framed to an overall size of 12.25x16.25. Lightly trimmed edges, tack hole to top border, a hint of light silvering, a crease and small spot of surface loss to top left, otherwise fine condition. Ideal for display.

According to the Library of Congress, this image is circa October 1927 - dating it to the same year as his famous flight. The photographer, Fred Hartsook, was based in California.
